Russian 1 - part 1 is the first year of a 2-year program of Level 1 Russian. Students will finish the course in 8th grade and receive a high school credit.
In class, we will be speaking, reading, writing, learning grammar and so on. We will have a variety of assignments and activities.
There is a strong focus on technology in class. Students will use their knowledge of Russian blended with the technology to produce a variety of projects including Voki's, Glogs, Slideshows, and more. Students will also be using Schoology and Quizlet regularly.
Members of this course will receive a workbook, but not a textbook. The textbooks are used in class only. Class members will also receive an audio CD to go along with their workbook. This CD will help at home with speaking/listening skills.
